Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart from Kampala or Entebbe and travel north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most scenic park. En route, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience (optional). Arrive at your lodge, check in, and enjoy leisure time.

Day 2: Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, with opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife photography.

Day 3: Top of the Falls & Nile Exploration

Start the day with an early boat safari or game drive, followed by a visit to the Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile narrows dramatically. Afternoon at leisure or optional photography session and forest walk.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls NP and travel south to Kibale Forest, passing scenic countryside and Lake Albert. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax in preparation for the next day’s primate activities.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Walk

Begin with an early morning chimpanzee tracking excursion in Kibale Forest, guided by expert rangers. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-managed area known for birds, monkeys, and rich wetland biodiversity.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart Kibale Forest after breakfast and travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic crater lakes. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

Day 7: Morning & Afternoon Game Drives in Queen Elizabeth NP

Day 8: Full-Day Exploration in Queen Elizabeth NP

Enjoy another full day in the park for additional game drives, photography, or optional excursions to the Ishasha sector to view tree-climbing lions (subject to sightings).

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth NP and travel south to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning crater lake known for its tranquility and scenic islands. Check in at your lodge and enjoy leisure activities such as a boat ride, canoeing, or birdwatching.

Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in at your lodge in the afternoon and prepare for gorilla trekking.

Day 11: Gorilla Tracking Experience

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing. Embark on a guided gorilla trekking expedition through the dense rainforest, spending up to one hour observing a habituated gorilla family. Return to the lodge for relaxation and optional community visits in the afternoon.

Day 12: Leisure Day in Bwindi / Optional Activities

Spend the day exploring Bwindi’s forest with optional nature walks, birdwatching, or photography sessions. This day provides flexibility to rest or engage in additional wildlife experiences.

Day 13: Second Day in Bwindi / Community Experience

Day 14: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Depart Bwindi after breakfast and travel east to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy an evening game drive or guided nature walk, spotting zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

Day 15: Full-Day Exploration of Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, embark on a morning and afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s rolling savannah and woodland. Optional activities include nature walks, birdwatching, and boat cruises on Lake Mburo.

Day 16: Return to Kampala / Entebbe

Following breakfast, depart Lake Mburo NP and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. Transfer to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for onward travel.
