12-Day Uganda Safari: Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi & Lake Mburo
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart from Kampala or Entebbe and travel north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most scenic park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience (optional). Arrive at your lodge, check in, and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the park, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, offering excellent wildlife and birdwatching opportunities.

Day 3: Top of the Falls & Nile Exploration
Start with an early morning boat safari or game drive, followed by a visit to the Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge. Afternoon at leisure or optional activities such as a nature walk or photography session.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Depart Murchison Falls NP after breakfast and travel south to Kibale Forest, passing scenic landscapes and Lake Albert. Check in at your lodge and relax in preparation for the following day’s primate activities.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Walk
Begin with an early morning chimpanzee tracking excursion in Kibale Forest, guided by expert rangers. In the afternoon, take a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-managed area known for diverse birdlife, primates, and wetland ecosystems.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart Kibale Forest and travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic crater lakes and farmland. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famed for hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

Day 7: Full-Day Exploration of Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive, seeking lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and antelopes. Afternoon at leisure or optional activities such as Ishasha tree-climbing lions tour (subject to sightings) or community visits.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depart Queen Elizabeth NP and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector with opportunities to see tree-climbing lions. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. Rest and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking Experience
After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing. Embark on a guided gorilla trekking expedition, spending up to one hour with a habituated gorilla family. Afternoon free for relaxation or optional community and cultural visits.

Day 10: Leisure Day in Bwindi / Optional Activities
Enjoy a full day in Bwindi for optional forest walks, birding, community visits, or photography. This day provides flexibility for rest or additional exploration of the park’s rich biodiversity.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Depart Bwindi after breakfast and travel east to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive or guided nature walk, spotting zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and various bird species.

Day 12: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
Following breakfast, depart Lake Mburo NP and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for onward travel.
